Establishing and running the atelier requires essential infrastructure and materials. This includes the purchase of key equipment such as kilns and pottery wheels, as well as ongoing supplies like clay bodies, glazes, and firing materials. It also covers the tools needed for shaping, finishing, and small-batch production, ensuring participants can work from raw material through to finished pieces.

Training & Program Delivery

This supports the delivery of the 6-month program, including ceramics instruction, design and product development, and leadership and entrepreneurship sessions. It covers the time and expertise of facilitators, visiting practitioners, and program leads, as well as the structure needed to deliver over 200 hours of hands-on and guided learning.

To ensure the program is accessible, this includes participant stipends, transportation support, and the coordination required to run the program consistently over six months. It also supports day-to-day operations, scheduling, and the resources needed to create a stable and supportive learning environment for all participants.
