Terracota is a ceramics atelier in Mindelo, led by Nelson Tavares and his dedicated team Flávio Sousa, and Nelton Fonseca. They have been key partners in designing our first programs and deepening our understanding of ceramics in São Vicente. Nelson guided our clay-based activity in Calhau, and shortly after, devastating flash floods in August brought us even closer. Since then, we have been working side by side to rehabilitate Terracota and carry forward its legacy.
